Laura studied pastel painting and academic figure drawing at The Art Students League of New York for over 10 years with renowned instructors Ellen Eagle, Harvey Dinnerstein and Michael Grimaldi. She has also studied with Daniel E. Greene and Burton Silverman.
Her work has been reproduced in two publications by James L. McElhinney and Instructors of the Art Students League of New York, The Visual Language of Drawing: Lessons on the Art of Seeing, Sterling Publishing Co., Inc., September 2012, and in The Art Students League of New York on Painting: Lessons and Meditations on Mediums, Styles, and Methods, Watson Guptill Publishing, November 2015.
Laura has displayed her paintings in both solo and group exhibitions. She has received multiple awards, and a number of her works have been commissioned for private collections.
